Although this is a media planning list and we are looking for a Art
Director/Copy Writer as a Professor, I thought you might be able to pass this on
to any creative types who might be interested in teaching in Hamilton, Canada.

Here's the job description for the upcoming full time position at Mohawk
College.  It's not official yet, but is certain to be approved within the next
couple of weeks.

PROFESSOR,
ADVERTISING AND COMMUNICATIONS MEDIA
FENNELL CAMPUS

Have a passion for great advertising but need a change of pace?

Join our innovative teaching team in Mohawk's three year Advertising and
Communications Media Program.

We need someone with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and
possible past teaching experience, to foster the creative talents of students
with diverse backgrounds, ages and learning styles.  You're the ideal candidate
if you're organized, self motivated and have at least eight years experience in
the business, with a focus on:

   * art direction and copy writing for all media;
   * advertising, sales promotion and direct marketing;
   * desktop publishing using Illustrator, Quark, and Photoshop in a Mac
     environment;
   * web design.

And, if you can  help keep our desktop lab up and running with Mac software and
hardware installation experience, you'll get bonus marks.

You should know that faculty members hired at Mohawk College may be assigned to
teach at any College Campus, although the Advertising Program is taught at the
Fennell Campus in Hamilton.  Also, since many programs run on a year round
basis, teaching during the summer months may be required.
