McClatchy Reports October 2008 Revenues

SACRAMENTO, Calif., Nov. 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The McClatchy Company today reported that consolidated revenues in October 2008 decreased 17.8% and advertising revenues were down 20.4% compared to revenues in October 2007. The Company noted that the declines in print advertising were partially offset by a 12.4% gain in online advertising revenues in October 2008 compared to October 2007.
